  • Open MS Outlook>>File and click ‘Add a New Email Account’.

  • Type your user name and password in ‘Internet email settings’.
  • Click on ‘More Settings’.
  • Outgoing Server tab- a checkmark on the box-My Outgoing Server Requires Authentication.
  • Fill in the port numbers for inbound and outbound mail servers in the ‘Advanced’ section and then click OK.
  • Incoming server POP3 – 110
  • IMAP port number- 143
  • Outgoing mail server SMTP port number- 25 or 587
  • Click on ‘Next’.
  • Choose the ‘Test Account Settings’ Option

Outlook will test the configuration of the Suddenlink account and set up validation.


Setup Email Settings for Suddenlink on Android:

Now that you have created an account, you can proceed with setting up the Suddenlink email on android.
  • Open the Gmail app on your phone.
  • Go to Menu>>Settings>>‘Add account.
  • In the setup email tab,>>Other.
  • Enter your email ID (Suddenlink email for outlook) and then click on ‘Manual setup’
  • Select the ‘POP’ account and fill in the details:
    1. Username- Your Suddenlink name
    2. Password- Your account password
    3. POP Server- pop.suddenlink.net
    4. Security type- None
    5. Port- 110
  • Click on ‘Next’ and enter the details:
    1. SMTP Server- smtp.suddenlink.net
    2. Port- 25
    3. Security type- None
  • Click on ‘Next’ >>select ‘email check frequency’.
  • Enter the account name and click on ‘Done’ once completed.
