- First of all, enable IMAP for Gmail.
- On iPhone, go to the " settings".
- Choose " password and accounts", click " add account".
- Later, select "Google".
- Now, provide the Gmail address and hit the next button.
- Enter your Gmail password, hit the next button.
- If you see the two-factor authentication appearing on the screen, you need to proceed with the onscreen instructions. This will only happen if you have any built-in two-factor authentication for your Gmail account.
- Turn on "Mail Toggle".
- Hit the Save button.
- At last, exit the home screen.
- Access Gmail on iPhone mail with POP settings
- Enable the POP for Gmail.
- Go to the " Settings".
- Click the "Passwords and accounts" option.
- Choose the " Add account" option.
- Click "Others">> "Add Mail account".
- Type your name, email ID, and password.
- Hit the next button.
- Choose "POP".
- Enter the Gmail pop server settings for the incoming mail server and outgoing mail server.
- Once you are done, hit the "Save" button.
- Select your Gmail account.
- Tap "smtp.gmail.com".
- After this, turn on the "USE SSL Toggle" switch.
- From the server port, you need to delete the existing number and type "465".
- Click the " Done" button.
