Step 2: Click the File tab twice in the menu bar, then select Account Settings.
Step 3: Select the "Email Account" radio option from the New menu.
Step 4: In the Auto-Account Setup box, click Next. Choose the "Manual setup or other server types" radio button at the bottom.
Step 5: Click Next after selecting the POP option.
Step 6: Approach POP and IMAP Account Settings box, in the Name box, enter the appropriate name.
Step 7: Enter your full email address into the Email Address box.
Step 8: Choose POP under Server Information from the Account Type pull-down box.
Step 9: In the Incoming mail server box, enter "pop3.comcast.net" as the name of the incoming mail server.
Step 10: In the Outgoing mail server(SMTP) box, type "smtp.comcast.net."
Step 11: Enter it in the User Name box under Login Information.
Step 12: Next type the password in its box.
Step 13: Go to the Outgoing Server tab by clicking the More Settings button.
Step 14: Authentication must be enabled for my SMTP (Outgoing Server) server.
Step 15: Select "Use same settings..." from the drop-down menu.
Step 16: Switch to the Advanced tab and type 995 in the Incoming server area.
Step 17: Click the drop-down arrow to select SSL.
Step 18: In the Outgoing server(SMTP) box, type 587 and choose TLS from the pull-down menu.
Step 19: Check the server settings by clicking Test Account Settings.
Step 20: Finish the setup by clicking Next.
